So I found this yesterday:

So, to top off the outfit, I need shoes. I usually wear some black flats and I'm getting tired of them and I feel I need something dressier for this event. So, I found these:

But they did not have my size. I was very sad. You must understand, I really don't care about shoes. I know some women really, really love shoes, but I have never been one of them. Shoes? I'm all eh.
For some reason I fell in LOVE with these shoes and am totally convinced that they will make the outfit! I must have them! So last night I went to a different Target. No luck.
Via the wonderment of Facebook, I currently have two friends checking their Targets to see if they can find them AND get them to me by tomorrow night!!! We shall see if either of them have success...
Have I mentioned my friends rock? And Facebook is a big help in wardrobe crises?
Now, if I can figure out what to do with my hair, and practice having a real grown up conversation, I'll be fine.

ReplyDeleteAnd those shoes? I'm with you, I'm just not into shoes (in fact, my husband has more than me.... but they are all hunting boots!) However, those shoes are SO CUTE! I love them! I was so bummed to read you couldn't find your size!! Praying your FB friends have success!!

Oh no . . . the shoes are going to make or break the outfit. I don't have to have a zillion shoes, but the ones I have are perfect for what I wear them with.

Okay, cute MaryJanes! Have you thought of maybe wearing some red shoes? Or even maybe some black with glittery embellishments so they sparkle when you walk? Just in case you can't find your size. I'm a shoe girl though, I bought 4 new ones yesterday and three new purses.

Have you checked other stores around us? I think Payless may still have a sale going on.
Payless had crap. They were still selling the old shoes I wear all the time. I usually score at Payless, but not this time.

I was at JCPenney yesterday and got some cute ones, but it was the JCPenney in NW not close to us. I got the ones in the link in red! I rarely buy shoes at Payless unless it's the beginning of the season, other than that, I think their shoes kinda look like Walmart shoes : )
