I Have a Good Excuse

OK Fine. I tweeted.

http://twitter.com/MrsRevised

I'm only sharing that with you because there are sometimes things I need to know and quickly. Who has a good idea for _________. Has anyone used _______ curriculum? Does this color look funky on the walls? OK, well, maybe you can't help with everything. But Facebook is full of friends from ALL the years of my life and I don't share just everything with them, you know? As in, I don't announce my blog. Very few real life friends know I blog. I like it that way. Same reason why my twitter profile does not have my name.

But YOU? My blog buddies I have never met? :) YOU I share everything with. This twitter feed is for US.

So I tweeted. It didn't hurt at all. If you are inclined to do such things, feel free to follow.

We'll try it out for awhile.

  1. Ack! You are brave! I have not dared to enter the Twitter world, and as much as you've tempted me, I don't think I will... just yet ;-) But you've definitely got good reasons... have fun!

  4. I am yet another twitter-less person. Most likely I will not ever be able to tweet so I will have to stay with blogging and email. Email seems so old school now compared to twitter and facebook. I am with Lucy T. though, do not stop blogging and let twittering fill your voice. Even though I know I can talk to you in person, I quite enjoy reading the blog. Oh and by the way, we don't have to talk about the weather like some little ones we know. : )

  5. Oh I have NO NONE ZERO plans to quit blogging. Did I ever mention the only thing I ever got in trouble for in school was for talking? :)
I've simply got too much to say.

But for those dumb thoughts that are not worth posting one sentence for....well, I'm just trying it out.

  6. Mrs Revised Tweeted . . . well there's peer pressure . . . now I'm going to have to figure out what in the world THAT's all about!

Had to laugh - I totally understand the keeping some information for some groups and not others. It's too bad we have to protect ourselves from the people who 'really' know us.

  7. Ha! It's not like I'm putting anything incriminating on my blog....it's just nice to share what I think about things and knowing that my mom's brother, my preacher, and my 7th grade teacher are not reading it, you know?

  8. I have no desire to Tweet. I don't understand it, to say the least. Facebook steals enough of my time as it is. Also, my cell phone gets ZERO internet, so it wouldn't be convenient either.

BUT I LOVE THE BLOG!! Glad to hear you'll be staying. :0)

I don't get to talk to a lot of actual grown-ups during the day, so your comments make me really happy! :)
