My Coffee Table This Morning

We can't handle horizontal surfaces.

Do you think it would be possible to design a house with no horizontal surfaces? Let's see, we could get a murphy bed.

(I really didn't know you could still buy these! From here.)

We could get a table like those in RVs where they fold up when not in use.

The kitchen cabinets pose a problem.

Hmph. I guess I'll just have to keep cleaning the surfaces off 14 times a day.

  1. I totally know what you mean. I can clean off our counters and the ottoman (we don't have a coffee table) and by the end of the day, they have things back on them again. The bad thing is, I'm one of the biggest offenders .

  2. every flat surface in my home looks like this everyday more than ones a day.I really don't get why it is so hard to just put things up.You should see my floors. We pick up two or three times a day.I think we should get rid of everything except our books But my kids would just drag in sticks and rocks. My husband told me I was headed for a padded cell if I didn't lighten up.I told him that white padded cell was looking better all the time.He laughed blew soda out his noise and knocked about five empty cans off his end table.LucyT

  4. So glad I am not the ONLY one who cannot have a flat surface that's not completely covered with everything under the sun! Thanks for the giggle today!

I don't get to talk to a lot of actual grown-ups during the day, so your comments make me really happy! :)
