I remember asking my parents what happened to "history", and they shrugged in bewilderment. (Yes, I was always too old for my age...lol). Fortunately I wrangled my way into doing independent studies during that class period and skipped out on most of the nonsense. The next year I switched to private school.<BR/><BR/>My husband and I have talked about how we want to teach history when the time comes, and right now we're planning on using books and movies as a springboard for investigating the past. I'm intrested in learning about the curriculum you're using.
