And about the lighting issue, underneath you could string Christmas lights...and on top there are those plug in clip on lights. And they are used to twin beds now and I told Steve he HAD to make the rails high.

Now I don't have to have the paranoia that the top bunk will fall on the bottom bunk and crush one child.

Not that I've ever laid in bed and thought about that.....Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13893224927335285415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686582774155973298.post-88944117317620427412009-03-07T05:19:00.000-06:002009-03-07T05:19:00.000-06:00Shoot! Many colors to choose from, and oh-so-cool!

Is the room big enough to make the loft beds doubles? That way it will grow with them for sure, AND you don't have the paranoia one of them will roll out of it before they get used to it.JulieMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03092325804765281007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686582774155973298.post-63597601837629602662009-03-06T23:02:00.000-06:002009-03-06T23:02:00.000-06:00Oooh! Then hang a curtain of some sort from the bottom of the bed so that they can have a special spot just for them. We have bunks in one room & my boys LOVE hanging up "curtains" (basically tucking a blanket under the top bunk's mattress) so that they can hide out.
