I do not homeschool (its not financially possible for me to stay home, as my husband is disabled), but I do teach at a Baptist university. I have been able to adapt some of your ideas for my college students. This is only my second year teaching, so I am grateful for help and ideas wherever I find them.AmandaLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16985420352159617985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686582774155973298.post-32825355040313262012009-08-08T19:54:25.860-05:002009-08-08T19:54:25.860-05:00You know Brenda, I don't homeschool but I love...You know Brenda, I don't homeschool but I love reading all about your journey with it. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with trying to plan and make sure all the classes end on the same day, etc. When I really need to remember just to do what God puts in front of me today.

I can plan all I want, but like you said, God is ultimately in control of what happens. I love your blog. I have tears in my eyes after reading your post about what really matters. I am a foster parent, 3 of my own, 2 fosters, one of those being special needs...and I have had a rough day. I needed to be reminded of what our love for him is doing for his development. Thank you for sharing it. I have an aunt who has been very hard on me, telling me that my kids weren't learning enough b/c I am too busy caring for my foster babies...which I don't believe...but doubt myself when she tells me those things. My children are learning so much in our families journey....and not just from books. Thank you, I needed to read this today.Mom of these kidshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05605360771922832135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1686582774155973298.post-67574780966853740972009-08-06T09:35:43.389-05:002009-08-06T09:35:43.389-05:00How encouraging this is to me this morning (especi...How encouraging this is to me this morning (especially since I was up WAY too late planning last night!)

Yep, He and His Will comes first, doesn't it?
